5150

Not to be confused with 5051, this band, from what I understand, were from Reno, NV and released two 7"s during 1986-87. The first one has good songs but sounds like crap and is probably the shortest 7" ever with the b side clocking in at 48 seconds. The second single, however, is blazing yet catchy with great (Earth AD era) Misfits style horrorpunk choruses. I think it absolutely rocks. I first heard this band on a cassette dub, followed by a CDR, and now on this Reagan Era HC bootleg from 2000 (which includes both 7"s, a whopping six minutes of music) which is where the photo comes from because I've never seen the original releases and know nothing about them. Check, Check, Check it out......
Forever Night 7" (1986)-

Lil' Miss 7" (1987)-
Lil Miss Succubus
Ambitious Demons

The shortest record ever is that insane 7" split between Napalm Death and Electro Hippies. 1 second only each band!
I've never heard it, but I'm going to have to guess that you're right. Hey, maybe someone should post it- shouldn't take too long to rip.
talk about an ugly cover.

Wow! I never heard these songs before- great stuff!! Especially considering it was '86-'87 when the whole metal/HC crossover crap was going on.
theyre from Las Vegas.
probably my favorite local band at the time. remembering one show at the Elks Lodge where they played under a large antlered elks head & the only light on in the hall was a dim orange box light set behind the drummer aimed up at the head. alls you could see was the head and 4 silhouettes. hellov an effect. they were quite a force.
yup the last ones right they are from Las Vegas, great band members went on to form Area 51 which is another great band, I saw them a couple years back they did a reunion gig at the Boston.
Anybody know of another location to get these songs? These links appear dead.
I found a bootleg reissue 7" with both 7"s on one record, the label is called Reagan Era HC
I have both original 45's
it's rare to hear quality hc out of vegas past and even much more so present. this 7 inch rules, anyone have any other info on this band or pictures or interviews or anything!? just curious also being from sin city myself what part of town were these guys from. i'm really intrested in the punk history of vegas but it's seems kind of inaccessible compared to a lot of other towns.
