Necros

Not much to say about the Necros that hasn't already been said. Supposedly they don't get along, seems like there's never going to be a reissue, etc. etc. etc. I know there's already been some posts about them but I don't know if anyone has done one on the Early Days bootleg 7" that surfaced sometime around 1991. Its basically just a demo set to vinyl with some familiar material along with two Sham 69 covers. What can I say, I certainly don't have anything new to add to this band's history so here's the Early Days EP for the diehard Necros fans-
Police Brutality
Work Now
Peer Pressure
Rip Off
Better Never Than Late
Caste System
What Have We Got?

Hell yeah those rumors are true. I grew up in Maumee and as "tough and hard" as the necros acted (except Cory)they were as queer as a 3 dollar bill. Barry, whose gay porn name was "Sandy Crevis" was also more well known for his nickname and later zine monicker "MOTORBOOTY". With iggy's cock chuggin' and Dee Dee's skank for skag examples, barry took his manheat a step farther and made a few "loops". With famous Detroit chickenhawk Russ Gibb as his agent/surrogate father, Barry quickly turned his "earnings" into
the SEX DRIVE 7" every young boy so lusts after. While his bandmates worked meanial but "normal" jobs such as icecream scoopers, gas station attendants and fledgling record moguls, Barry came to terms with his forbidden passions and realized that his dream of a long recording career in hardcore was to come to fruition, he'd better get back to work. As his hair grew and his band sucked, all the adolescent appeal that kept him in the "adult" spotlight started to dry up. Lucky for us, Barry always had a LARGE trust fund and was able to "keep on keepin' on" with his artisic visions until the late 90's. Currently he's retired from music (and gay porn) and living comfortably in Chicago's high rent district.

Barry seems to have made more than his share of enemies over the years. Every time a Necros post comes up people start talking shit. Highly entertaining.

Gotta love blog comments sections. Where else can the bitter and spineless defame the character of superiors without fear of reprisal?

Nice post, but I think you posted the wrong song title for "Peer Pressure", it's actually called "Your Version Of What I Think". "Peer Pressure" is a different song from the IQ32 7".
