Killroy was a band from Hollywood, California who released a 7" and a 12". The 12" was released in 1985 on Upstart records who also released Circle One's Patterns of Force. I know nothing about this record since i've never seen nor heard it. The 7" came out in 1983 on Ghettoway/Mystic and is one of the better releases from this hit and miss label and the production isn't bad compared with other Mystic recordings. Although every song is essentially about Vietnam or beer, it's still a catchy punk record that's worth a listen. Here it is-
99 Bottles
66 Big Buildup
Gas Mask
West End Kids
Update: I'm told that they are from the San Fernando Valley and also have a demo floating around, and the 12" gets a good review.

One of the guys in Killroy, Jim Powers now makes (not performs in) pretty dang hardcore pornography. There's one movie he made called Little Ronaway which is loosely based on the movie Suburbia.

Someone hooked me up with the 12" and told me the same story. Supposedly Mr. Casey Royer shows up in the porn. A quick check on the IMDB shows Jim involved in directing 375 movies!!!

Yeah Casey gets a blow job in the movie and DI performs live in the film too. Crazy

Haha. Yea, Jim Lane, Killroy's bassist, is now the porn king Jim Powers. Also, I believe one of the vocalists, the one who was in Johnny and the Dingbats, eventually went on to join FFF. I think he was the singer on the FFF demo, though I'm not too sure. Killroy's 12" is definitely worth seeking out, though. I have it ripped, but the quality isn't so great.

The porn guy recently held a rock meets porn type of event - Sweet Justice - a project band of bruce Duff (adz, Jeff Dahl Band, 45 Grave, Jesters of Destiny) and Frank Meyer (streetWalking Cheetahs) do together - played and may be on the soundtrack as well - the main improvement in the meetng of the two not so much being sexier movies but by there being good music not awful appearing in porn,
